Cheryl at GF and Healthy tagged me today for a meme. What's a "meme"? I didn't know either!
Here are the rules:
(1) I must link the tagger (Cheryl, in this case) to my blog and list the rules; (2) I must share 7 weird bits about myself; and (3) I must tag 7 new bloggers and make them aware with a comment in their blog.
Allrighty then! Here are 7 weird things about myself:
1. I leave drawers and cabinet doors open while I cook. This drives my husband nuts. I have no idea why I do this -- but I think it must be because it's just so much more efficient to leave everything open in case I need to go back for something else.
2. I don't really like meat that much. In most cases, if I order a meat item at a restaurant (even chicken on a salad), it's because I am pressuring myself to do so for the protein content. I'm not a vegetarian, but I'm just not that into meat.
3. My week just isn't complete without watching The Suze Orman show (usually on Tivo).
4. I wore ripped jeans and a black t-shirt to my wedding (we eloped)!
5. I can touch the tip of my tongue to the tip of my nose.
6. I studied female circumcision among the Meru tribe of Kenya during a semester abroad there. I lived with a woman and her extended family by myself in a small village with no electricity or phone and interviewed women about circumcision for a couple of weeks.
7. The comedian Carrot Top absolutely freaks me out for some reason. I can't even look at him when he's on TV!
The seven bloggers I am going to tag to do a "Meme" are:
1. Free-Mealer
2. Waking Sophie
3. So What CAN He Eat?
4. Flight of a Bumblebee
5. Autism Journey
6. EZ GFCF
7. GFCF Mommy
