Our GFCFSF Menu This Week (August 24-30)

The kids are home this week (camp is done; school starts next week), so I have some dinners lined up that take a little extra prepration time (well, not all of them, but some of them) since either hubbie or I will be home with the kids during the day. I'm still trying to rotate proteins. I tried to figure out how to rotate carbs/starches too this morning but got confused, so that will have to happen some other week!!!

Sunday: Ian's fish sticks for kids; sushi for mom & dad

Monday: Duck (first time for this!!!) with rice and broccoli

Tuesday: Homemade chicken nuggets & fries

Wednesday: Turkish spaghetti with buffalo

Thursday: Turkey ham steak with pancakes

Friday: Pizza (toppings TBD at this point)

Saturday: Pot roast in the crock pot

What Really Happened . . . (don't laugh!)

Sunday: Ian's fish sticks and leftover mashed potatoes (with sneaky cauliflower) for kids; sushi for mom & dad

Monday: FIRST RESTAURANT IN 10 MONTHS!!!! We went to Five Guys. Son had hot dog with no bun, daughter had hamburger with no bun. We all enjoyed their french fries. I brought the Houston's enzymes and all was well! :)

Tuesday: Hot dogs with leftover Five Guys fries

Wednesday: Pot roast in the crock pot

Thursday: Skirt steak with Tinkyada spiral pasta

Friday: Pizza (with leftover pot roast blended into the sauce! Shh!)

Saturday: TBD!
