CC ALERT: Living Harvest Hempmilk

CROSS CONTAMINATION ALERT!!!

Diane at Living Harvest Hempmilk has informed me that their hempmilk is produced on shared equipment with soy and rice beverages. Here is the direct quote (July 10, 2008):

The production facility also processes soy beverages and rice beverages. I would like to emphasize, however, that the machinery goes through a sterilization process which is comparable to that used for surgical facilities. They also produce components for hypo-allergenic products.

This may be why some people are noting that their kids react to this milk substitute.
