The Yeast Beast

This is what my 3-year old does almost all day when he's yeasty. Ugh. It's horrible. What I do to fix the situation:

1. Give 1-2 drops of Grapefruit Seed Extract in his o.j. in the morning.

2. Give him 4,000 mcg (= 4 mg) of biotin every day (2,000 mcg morning, 2,000 mcg night)

3. Increase his nightly probiotic (I use Custom Probiotics right now). Maybe even give 2x/day if the yeast is really bad.

tori,
the oregano leaf that you said you rub on your son's feet, do you put it straight on the feet or do you need to dilute it with a different oil?
thanks,
shirley

Hi Shirley. I haven't done this for a while, but, yes, when I was doing it, I just put it straight on the feet. Please note that I have *no* idea if this is okay or if it did anything helpful. I don't think I did it long enough for it to do anything. I know that some things absorb through the skin, so I figured I'd try it with the oregano.
